Probleme mit MySQL (lampp) auf Ubuntu 7.04 AMD64

    So, dann will ich auch mal wieder *gg*
    Das ganze fing damit an, dass ich neulich auf die Ubuntu AMD 64 Bit version gewechselt bin.
    Linux32 ist installiert, der Apache, PHP, Perl und FTP laufen auch, aber irgendwie meint der MySQL-Server, er müsste aus der Reihe tanzen.

    Ok, das gefiel mir schonmal garnicht, aber man hätte ja evtl. mal Glück haben können.
    Egal, das Hauptproblem ist folgendes.

    Scheint also so, dass kein Server aufgebaut wird, hat jemand ne Ahnung wie man das lösen könnte?
    Post Scriptum: Auf einen externen MySQL Server (selber rechner) bin ich auch nicht gekommen ...

    Zu dem Problem kann ich dir nun nichts weiteres sagen, aber ich empfehle dir so oder so eher die 32bit Versionen... Es ist wie mit XP 64... die Treiberunterstützung ist nicht unbedingt so das Wahre und manches läuft einfach schlichtweg nicht mal einfach so bzw. gar nicht..

    Habe mir das mit der i386 version vorher natürlich überlegt, allerdings wollte ich mal was neues ausprobieren.
    Hab mich jetzt mal ein wenig weiter schlau gemacht, die neue MySQL Version funktioniert mit 64 Bit, allerdings ist die im Lampp noch nicht drin.
    Also werde ich noch 'ne Runde auf's nächste Lampp Update warten und dann sollte es hoffentlich wieder gehen.
